  1. 1. Remove the hard stem area from the tomatoes.
  2. 2. Briefly dip the tomatoes into boiling salted water.
  3. 3. Peel the skin off the tomatoes (this is called peeling).
  4. 4. Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the inside with the seeds.
  5. 5. Cut the tomato flesh into small cubes.
  6. 6. Peel the garlic and chop it very finely.
  7. 7. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
  8. 8. Cut the lemon in half.
  9. 9. Cut a narrow strip from one lemon half for decoration.
  10. 10. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lemon half.
  11. 11. Wash the bell pepper.
  12. 12. Cut the bell pepper in half and remove the inside with the seeds.
  13. 13. Cut the bell pepper into fine cubes.
  14. 14. Add the pepper cubes to the tomatoes and garlic.
  15. 15. Add the lemon juice.
  16. 16. Add the oil and cumin.
  17. 17. Mix all ingredients well together.
