🍽️ Fresh Tomato and Mozzarella Salad

Ingredients
- 4 medium aromatic tomatoes
- 300 g mozzarella (preferably buffalo mozzarella)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 8 tbsp cold-pressed best olive oil
- 1 bunch basil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the tomatoes under running water.
- 2. Remove the tough stems from the tomatoes.
- 3. Slice the tomatoes into even rounds.
- 4. Let the mozzarella drain well in a colander.
- 5. Slice the mozzarella into rounds as well.
- 6. Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices alternately and slightly overlapping on four large plates.
- 7. Season the salad with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
- 8. Drizzle the oil evenly over all four portions.
- 9. Pick the fresh basil leaves off the stems.
- 10. Gently dry the basil leaves with kitchen paper.
- 11. Avoid washing the basil leaves to prevent damage.
- 12. Garnish the arranged salads with the basil leaves.
- 13. Serve the salad immediately to keep it fresh and crisp.
