  6. 6. Mix the oil with the garlic, 1 to 2 teaspoons of salt, and the lemon juice.
  7. 7. Gently fold the mozzarella and tomatoes into the marinade.
  8. 8. Cover the bowl and let the ingredients marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  9. 9. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
  10. 10. Thread the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil alternately onto wooden skewers.
  11. 11. Serve the skewers immediately.
