  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
  2. 2. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  3. 3. Cut off the top lids of the tomatoes.
  4. 4. Carefully hollow out the inside of the tomatoes.
  5. 5. Mix the rice with the basil, lemon juice, and one tablespoon of oil.
  6. 6. Season the rice mixture with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Fill the hollowed-out tomatoes with the rice mixture.
  8. 8. Place the cut-off lids back onto the tomatoes.
  9. 9. Place the tomatoes on a baking sheet greased with oil.
  10. 10. Drizzle a little more oil over the tomatoes.
  11. 11. Bake the tomatoes in the oven for about 15 minutes.
  12. 12. Peel the garlic clove and the shallot.
  13. 13. Finely chop the garlic and shallot together.
  14. 14. Rinse the parsley and oregano.
  15. 15. Shake the herbs dry.
  16. 16. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
  17. 17. Finely chop the herbs.
  18. 18. Knead the minced meat thoroughly with the chopped garlic, shallot, and herbs.
  19. 19. Season the meat mixture with salt, cumin, and pepper.
  20. 20. Form about eight small balls from the meat mixture.
  21. 21. Thread the meat balls onto wooden skewers.
  22. 22. Press the balls firmly onto the skewers.
  23. 23. Shape the balls to be slightly elongated while doing so.
  24. 24. Brush the skewers with oil.
  25. 25. Grill the skewers on a hot grill or in a pan.
  26. 26. Grill the skewers on all sides for 6 to 8 minutes.
  27. 27. Cut the feta cheese into four slices.
  28. 28. Arrange the feta slices on a large platter.
  29. 29. Peel the onion.
  30. 30. Cut the onion into thin strips.
  31. 31. Sprinkle the onion strips over the feta.
  32. 32. Drizzle a little oil over the feta and onions.
  33. 33. Season the platter with pepper.
  34. 34. Place the stuffed tomatoes and the skewers next to the platter.
  35. 35. Serve the dish.
