🥗 Fresh Salad with Tomatoes, Mango, and Buffalo Mozzarella

Ingredients
- 500 g tomatoes (various colorful varieties)
- 400 g mango (1 mango)
- salt
- pepper
- 1 romaine lettuce heart
- 2 spring onions
- 4 sprigs basil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 125 g buffalo mozzarella
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Cut out the hard stem areas from the tomatoes in a wedge shape.
- 3. Cut the tomatoes into wedges.
- 4. Peel the mango.
- 5. Cut the mango flesh into wedges by slicing it away from the pit.
- 6. Place the tomato and mango wedges into a large bowl.
- 7. Season the fruit with salt and pepper.
- 8. Let the salad sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
- 9. Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly.
- 10. Dry the lettuce using a salad spinner or a cloth.
- 11. Tear or chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- 12. Clean and wash the spring onions.
- 13. Drain the spring onions.
- 14. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 15. Add the prepared lettuce and spring onion rings to the tomato and mango mixture.
- 16. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 17. Wash the basil.
- 18. Shake the basil dry.
- 19. Finely chop the basil leaves.
- 20. Add the chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil to the salad.
- 21. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 22. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the salad with salt and pepper.
- 23. Drain the buffalo mozzarella.
- 24. Tear or cut the cheese into small pieces.
- 25. Arrange the tomato and mango salad on a serving plate.
- 26. Distribute the cheese pieces evenly over the salad.
