🍽️ Grilled Tomatoes Wrapped in Ham with Sage

Ingredients
- 4 large tomatoes
- 2 sprigs sage
- 150 g Parma ham (in thin slices)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 0.5 tsp peppercorns
- 0.5 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut out the hard stem bases from the top of the tomatoes.
- 3. Slice the tomatoes into rounds about 1 centimeter thick.
- 4. Pluck the fresh sage leaves from the stems.
- 5. Place one sage leaf on each tomato slice.
- 6. Wrap a slice of ham around the tomato so that it is completely covered.
- 7. Secure the ham wrap with a toothpick if necessary.
- 8. Brush the tomatoes with a little oil.
- 9. Place the tomatoes on the preheated hot grill.
- 10. Grill the tomatoes for 4 to 5 minutes on the first side.
- 11. Turn the tomatoes and grill them for another 4 to 5 minutes on the other side.
- 12. Put the coriander, pepper, and sea salt into a mortar.
- 13. Crush the spices finely in the mortar.
- 14. Sprinkle the finished spice mixture evenly over the grilled tomatoes.
- 15. Serve the tomatoes as a delicious appetizer.
