  4. 4. Stir the mixture well until the salt has completely dissolved.
  5. 5. Stir the oil into the marinade.
  6. 6. Season the marinade generously with pepper and basil.
  7. 7. Put the peas in boiling water for about 1 minute.
  8. 8. Drain the peas.
  9. 9. Rinse the peas with cold water.
  10. 10. Add the drained peas to the marinade.
  11. 11. Let the salad marinate for about 30 minutes.
  12. 12. Peel the onions.
  13. 13. Slice one onion into rings.
  14. 14. Finely dice the other onion.
  15. 15. Add the drained corn kernels to the salad.
  16. 16. Add the finely diced onions to the salad.
  17. 17. Mix everything well together.
  18. 18. Wash the tomatoes.
  19. 19. Slice the tomatoes.
  20. 20. Arrange the tomato slices on a plate.
  21. 21. Taste the salad one last time and adjust the seasoning.
  22. 22. Place the salad on top of the tomato slices.
  23. 23. Garnish the salad with fresh basil leaves.
  24. 24. Sprinkle the onion rings over the top.
