🍽️ Fresh Tomato Sandwiches with Cucumber and Cress

Ingredients
- 4 slices bread
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes
- 0.5 cucumber
- 100 g yogurt (low-fat as desired)
- 1 small garlic clove
- 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 0.5 box cress
Instructions
- 1. Wash the lettuce leaves under running water.
- 2. Gently pat the leaves dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 4. Remove the hard stem area from the top of the tomatoes.
- 5. Slice the tomatoes into even rounds.
- 6. Wash the cucumber.
- 7. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- 8. Peel the garlic clove.
- 9. Mince the garlic very finely.
- 10. Mix the minced garlic with the yogurt.
- 11. Finely chop the parsley.
- 12. Stir the parsley into the yogurt-garlic mixture.
- 13. Season the sauce with salt.
- 14. Season the sauce with black pepper.
- 15. Trim the bottom ends of the cress bunches.
- 16. Place the dry lettuce leaves on the bread slices.
- 17. Distribute the tomato slices on top of the lettuce.
- 18. Place the cucumber slices on top of the tomatoes.
- 19. Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the assembled bread.
- 20. Sprinkle the fresh cress over the sandwich.
- 21. Serve the sandwich immediately.
