🍕 Tofu Pizza

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 300 g tofu
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 10 olives
- 10 basil
- 500 g tomatoes
- salt
- pepper
- flour (for the work surface)
- fat (for the pan)
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g tofu
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 egg
Instructions
- 1. Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl.
- 2. Press the tofu through a fine sieve until it is creamy.
- 3. Mound the flour mixture on a work surface and make a well in the center.
- 4. Add the pressed tofu, oil, soy sauce, and egg into the well.
- 5. Quickly knead the ingredients together into a smooth dough.
- 6. Roll out the dough on the work surface using a little extra flour.
- 7. Place the dough into the greased pizza pan.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
- 9. Bake the dough base for about 10 minutes.
- 10. Peel the onion and garlic.
- 11. Slice the onion and garlic into thin rings.
- 12. Heat olive oil in a pan.
- 13. Sauté the onion and garlic rings until translucent.
- 14. Remove the vegetables from the pan and set aside.
- 15. Slice the tofu into 3 millimeter thick slices.
- 16. Place the tofu slices on a soup plate.
- 17. Drizzle the tofu with soy sauce and oil.
- 18. Pit the olives and chop them coarsely.
- 19. Chop the basil coarsely.
- 20. Sprinkle the basil and olives over the marinated tofu.
- 21. Turn the tofu in the mixture so it is well coated.
- 22. Let the tofu absorb the flavors for a short time.
- 23. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 24. Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds.
- 25. Top the pre-baked dough base with the tomato slices.
- 26. Distribute the marinated tofu slices evenly over the dough.
- 27. Pour the remaining marinade over the pizza.
- 28. Place the sautéed onion and garlic rings on top.
- 29. Bake the pizza for 20 minutes in the oven.
