  2. 2. Dry the fruits with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Remove the hard stem bases from the figs.
  4. 4. Slice 12 of the figs into thin slices.
  5. 5. Halve the remaining 4 figs lengthwise.
  6. 6. Crush the red pepper in a mortar until it becomes powder.
  7. 7. Slice the tofu.
  8. 8. Place the tofu slices on a plate.
  9. 9. Distribute the fig slices and halves on top of the tofu.
  10. 10. Sprinkle the dish with the ground red pepper.
