🍽️ Toast Rolls with Blue Cheese

Ingredients
- 30 g small onions (1 small onion)
- 1 small garlic clove
- 150 g plums (4 plums)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 20 g frisée lettuce (0.25 frisée lettuce)
- 140 g toast rolls (2 toast rolls)
- 40 g blue cheese (50% fat in dry matter)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and slice it into rings.
- 2. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 3. Wash the plums and pat them dry.
- 4. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
- 5. Cut the plums into small pieces if necessary.
- 6. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan.
- 7. Add the onions, garlic, and plums to the pan.
- 8. Cook the mixture covered over medium heat for 8 minutes.
- 9. Season the pan filling with salt and pepper.
- 10. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool.
- 11. Wash the frisée lettuce and spin it dry.
- 12. Remove the tough stems from the lettuce.
- 13. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- 14. Toast the four bread roll halves.
- 15. Spread the cooled plum-onion mixture onto the bottom roll halves.
- 16. Place the lettuce on top of the plum-onion mixture.
- 17. Rinse a knife blade under cold water.
- 18. Slice the cheese into four slices.
- 19. Place the cheese slices on the lettuce.
- 20. Place the top roll halves on.
- 21. Tie each roll securely with kitchen twine.
- 22. Place the rolls in a food container (approx. 1 liter) or wrap them in aluminum foil.
