🍰 Classic Tiramisu

Ingredients
- 1 Organic Lemon
- 500 g Mascarpone
- 4 Egg Yolks
- 4 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 Cups Cold Espresso
- 40 ml Brandy
- 150 g Ladyfingers
- Dark Chocolate
- Raspberries (for garnish)
- Mint (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Place the egg yolks from 4 eggs and 4 tablespoons of sugar into a large bowl.
- 2. Beat the mixture with a hand mixer on the highest speed until creamy and frothy.
- 3. Gradually fold in 500 g of mascarpone cheese into the egg mixture.
- 4. Finely grate the zest of one whole lemon and stir it into the cream.
- 5. Mix espresso and brandy in a separate small bowl.
- 6. Briefly dip half of the ladyfinger biscuits into the coffee and brandy mixture.
- 7. Arrange the soaked biscuits evenly in champagne glasses or a baking dish.
- 8. Spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of the mascarpone cream evenly over the biscuit layer.
- 9. Layer another row of soaked ladyfinger biscuits on top.
- 10. Cover the top layer with the remaining mascarpone cream.
- 11. Place the tiramisu in the refrigerator for about 5 hours.
- 12. Grate chocolate finely over the finished cream just before serving.
- 13. Decorate the dessert with fresh raspberries and mint leaves.
