  1. 1. Put 4 egg yolks and 4 tablespoons of sugar into a bowl.
  2. 2. Beat the mixture with a hand mixer on high speed until creamy and frothy.
  3. 3. Gently fold 500 g of mascarpone into the egg yolk mixture.
  4. 4. Grate the zest of one whole lemon and stir it into the cream.
  5. 5. Prepare 8 glasses.
  6. 6. Cut ladyfinger biscuits into 3 pieces each.
  7. 7. Mix 2 cups of cold espresso with 4 cl of brandy.
  8. 8. Dip half of the biscuit pieces briefly into the espresso mixture.
  9. 9. Place the soaked biscuits evenly into the glasses.
  10. 10. Add a layer of mascarpone cream over the biscuits.
  11. 11. Dip the remaining biscuit pieces into the espresso mixture.
  12. 12. Place the biscuits on top of the cream.
  13. 13. Finish the glasses with a final layer of mascarpone cream.
  14. 14. Place the glasses in the refrigerator for about 5 hours.
  15. 15. Dust the tiramisu generously with dark cocoa powder before serving.
