Ingredients
- 800 g squid ring (frozen)
- juice of one lemon
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 zucchini
- 700 g tomatoes
- salt
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- basil
Instructions
- 1. Drizzle lemon juice over the squid rings.
- 2. Let the squid rings thaw at room temperature.
- 3. Fill the clay pot with water to prepare it.
- 4. Peel the onions.
- 5. Slice the onions into rings.
- 6. Peel the garlic.
- 7. Finely chop the garlic.
- 8. Wash the zucchini thoroughly.
- 9. Remove the hard ends of the zucchini.
- 10. Slice the zucchini into thin rounds.
- 11. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes.
- 12. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 13. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- 14. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes.
- 15. Finely chop the tomato flesh.
- 16. Mix the onion rings, garlic, zucchini slices, and tomato pieces in a bowl.
- 17. Place the vegetables into the prepared clay pot.
- 18. Season the vegetables with salt.
- 19. Season the vegetables with cayenne pepper.
- 20. Distribute the squid rings evenly over the vegetables.
- 21. Drizzle the dish with olive oil.
- 22. Pour the remaining lemon juice over it.
- 23. Finely chop some fresh basil.
- 24. Sprinkle the basil over the dish.
- 25. Place the clay pot into a cold oven.
- 26. Set the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 27. Cook the dish for about 20 minutes.
