  1. 1. Separate the tentacles from the squid body, but keep them connected at the base.
  2. 2. Cut the squid body into strips about 2 centimeters wide.
  3. 3. Fold the squid strips together like an accordion.
  4. 4. Thread the folded strips onto the wooden skewers.
  5. 5. Press the squid strips slightly so they sit firmly on the skewers.
  6. 6. Halve the tentacle pieces.
  7. 7. Thread the halved tentacles onto the skewers as well.
  8. 8. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  9. 9. Turn the squid skewers in the breadcrumb mixture.
  10. 10. Make sure the squid is completely covered with the breadcrumb coating.
  11. 11. Place the skewers on a baking sheet.
  12. 12. Arrange the tomato slices around the skewers.
  13. 13. Sprinkle the remaining breadcrumb mixture over the skewers and tomatoes.
  14. 14. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  15. 15. Bake the skewers in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  16. 16. Turn off the oven and activate the grill function.
  17. 17. Grill the skewers for 2 to 3 minutes.
  18. 18. Drizzle the finished skewers with lemon juice.
  19. 19. Serve the skewers immediately.
