  1. 1. Peel the sweet potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
  2. 2. Place the potatoes in boiling salted water and cook them for about 20 minutes until tender.
  3. 3. Drain the water and let the potatoes drain well.
  4. 4. Slice the drained sweet potatoes into even rounds.
  5. 5. Rinse the tuna briefly and pat it dry with kitchen paper.
  6. 6. Drizzle lime juice over the fish and season with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Let the marinated tuna steaks rest for 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Cut the mango in half and remove the pit.
  9. 9. Remove the mango flesh and cut it into small cubes.
  10. 10. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
  11. 11. Remove the seeds from the tomato quarters.
  12. 12. Dice the remaining tomato flesh finely.
  13. 13. Clean the spring onions and wash them.
  14. 14. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
  15. 15. Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a pan.
  16. 16. Fry the sweet potato slices in the hot oil for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  17. 17. Turn the slices once while frying.
  18. 18. Season the sweet potatoes with salt at the end.
  19. 19. Heat some vegetable oil in a separate pan.
  20. 20. Pat the marinated fish dry again.
  21. 21. Fry the tuna steaks in the hot oil for about 3 minutes on each side.
  22. 22. Taste the finished fish and adjust with salt and freshly ground pepper.
  23. 23. Arrange the sweet potato slices on the plates.
  24. 24. Place the tuna steaks on top of the potatoes.
  25. 25. Add the mango and tomato cubes as salsa.
  26. 26. Sprinkle the dish with the spring onion rings at the end.
