🍽️ Marinated Tuna Skewers with Vegetables

Ingredients
- 300 g tuna (approx. 1.5 cm thick slices)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sherry
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- 4 mushrooms
- 2 spring onions
- bell peppers (1/2 red and 1 green each)
- 1 piece ginger (walnut-sized)
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 wooden skewers
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the tuna under running water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Cut the tuna into bite-sized cubes.
- 3. Whisk lemon juice, soy sauce, sherry, and sugar together in a shallow bowl.
- 4. Place the fish cubes in the marinade and turn them so they are well coated.
- 5. Let the fish cubes marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
- 6. Clean the mushrooms and prepare them.
- 7. Wash the spring onions and clean them.
- 8. Cut the white and light green parts of the spring onions into three sections.
- 9. Halve the bell pepper, remove the core, and scrape out the white inner membranes.
- 10. Cut the bell pepper into diamond shapes.
- 11. Peel the ginger and slice it into very thin pieces.
- 12. Remove the tuna from the marinade and pat it dry.
- 13. Thread the fish cubes, bell pepper diamonds, ginger slices, and spring onion sections onto the skewers in an alternating pattern.
- 14. Brush the skewers lightly with oil.
- 15. Season the skewers with salt and pepper.
- 16. Grill the skewers over medium heat for about 6 minutes.
- 17. Turn the skewers occasionally while grilling.
