🍽️ Tuna Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 1 can tuna (in its own juice)
- 3 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 red onion
- 8 black olives (chopped)
- 2 crisp lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 baguette rolls
Instructions
- 1. Drain the tuna fillet well.
- 2. Mash the tuna fillet with a fork.
- 3. Wash the lettuce leaves under running water.
- 4. Pat the lettuce leaves dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Wash the tomato under running water.
- 6. Slice the tomato into thin slices.
- 7. Stir Creme Fraîche and lemon juice together in a small bowl.
- 8. Peel the garlic clove.
- 9. Peel the onion.
- 10. Finely chop the onion.
- 11. Press the garlic through a garlic press.
- 12. Add the chopped onion to the tuna.
- 13. Add the pressed garlic to the tuna.
- 14. Add the olives to the tuna.
- 15. Season the tuna mixture with salt.
- 16. Season the tuna mixture with pepper.
- 17. Toast the buns as desired.
- 18. Slice a baguette bun lengthwise.
- 19. Line the bun with the lettuce leaves.
- 20. Place the tomato slices on the lettuce.
- 21. Spread the tuna mixture over the tomato slices.
