🍽️ Grilled Tuna with Lemon Melon Salad

Ingredients
- 2 sprigs lemon balm
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 untreated lemon (juice)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 chilled honeydew melon
- 700 g fresh tuna fillet (kitchen-ready, skinless)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fresh lemon balm under cold water.
- 2. Gently shake the leaves dry.
- 3. Cut the lemon balm leaves into very fine strips.
- 4. Place the cut leaves into a small bowl.
- 5. Add one tablespoon of olive oil.
- 6. Add two tablespoons of lemon juice.
- 7. Season the mixture with freshly ground pepper.
- 8. Stir everything well until it forms a homogeneous sauce.
- 9. Get a melon baller ready.
- 10. Scoop nice balls out of the melon flesh.
- 11. Add the melon balls to the lemon-balm sauce.
- 12. Place the bowl in a cool spot.
- 13. Let the melon balls marinate in it.
- 14. Rinse the tuna under running water.
- 15. Pat the fish dry with a kitchen towel.
- 16. Cut the fish into twelve slices of equal thickness.
- 17. Drizzle the tuna slices with some lemon juice.
- 18. Season the slices with pepper.
- 19. Preheat a grill pan on the highest setting.
- 20. Add one tablespoon of olive oil to the hot pan.
- 21. Place the tuna slices in the pan.
- 22. Sear the fish on the first side for one to two minutes.
- 23. Turn the slices.
- 24. Sear the fish on the second side for one to two minutes as well.
- 25. Remove the tuna from the pan.
- 26. Season the fish with salt.
- 27. Take the marinated melon balls out of the sauce.
- 28. Place the tuna on a plate.
- 29. Garnish the plate with the melon balls.
- 30. Serve the dish immediately.
