🍽️ Tuna Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 2 slices whole wheat toast
- 2 slices toast bread
- 60 g cream cheese
- 1 cucumber
- 100 g cocktail tomatoes
- salt
- 200 g tuna can (in its own juice)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Spread the toast slices evenly with cream cheese.
- 2. Wash the cucumber thoroughly.
- 3. Cut off the ends of the cucumber.
- 4. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- 5. Wash the tomatoes under running water.
- 6. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- 7. Briefly dip the tomatoes into the boiling water (this is called blanching).
- 8. Remove the tomatoes immediately from the hot water and let them drain.
- 9. Let the tuna can drain well.
- 10. Break up the tuna fillet into small pieces using a fork.
- 11. Mix the tuna with the prepared tomatoes.
- 12. Add a little olive oil.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 14. Distribute half of the cucumber slices onto the toast slices.
- 15. Place the tuna salad evenly on top of the cucumber slices.
- 16. Top the sandwiches with the remaining cucumber slices.
- 17. Cover the sandwiches with the remaining toast slices.
- 18. Make sure the cream cheese side of the top toast slice is facing downwards.
- 19. Cut each sandwich diagonally in half.
