  1. 1. Spread the toast slices evenly with cream cheese.
  2. 2. Wash the cucumber thoroughly.
  3. 3. Cut off the ends of the cucumber.
  4. 4. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
  5. 5. Wash the tomatoes under running water.
  6. 6. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  7. 7. Briefly dip the tomatoes into the boiling water (this is called blanching).
  8. 8. Remove the tomatoes immediately from the hot water and let them drain.
  9. 9. Let the tuna can drain well.
  10. 10. Break up the tuna fillet into small pieces using a fork.
  11. 11. Mix the tuna with the prepared tomatoes.
  12. 12. Add a little olive oil.
  13. 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  14. 14. Distribute half of the cucumber slices onto the toast slices.
  15. 15. Place the tuna salad evenly on top of the cucumber slices.
  16. 16. Top the sandwiches with the remaining cucumber slices.
  17. 17. Cover the sandwiches with the remaining toast slices.
  18. 18. Make sure the cream cheese side of the top toast slice is facing downwards.
  19. 19. Cut each sandwich diagonally in half.
