🍕 Tuna Pizza

Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- flour (for shaping)
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 20 g fresh yeast (0.5 cube)
- 2 tbsp capers
- 500 g chunky tomatoes (can, pack)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 onions
- 300 g tuna (in water, 2 cans)
- 80 g freshly grated Alpine cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- oil (for the baking sheet)
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour into a bowl.
- 2. Mix the flour with salt and oil.
- 3. Dissolve the yeast in just under 150 ml of lukewarm water.
- 4. Add the yeast mixture to the flour.
- 5. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic using the dough hooks of the hand mixer.
- 6. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
- 7. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- 8. Roll out the dough on the sheet.
- 9. Make the edges slightly thicker than the center.
- 10. Finely chop the capers.
- 11. Mix the capers with the tomatoes and oregano.
- 12. Season the tomato mixture with salt and pepper.
- 13. Spread three quarters of the sauce evenly over the dough.
- 14. Peel the onions.
- 15. Slice the onions into rings.
- 16. Drain the tuna well.
- 17. Break the tuna into small flakes.
- 18. Mix the tuna with the onion rings.
- 19. Distribute the tuna-onion mixture over the sauce.
- 20. Add the remaining sauce on top.
- 21. Sprinkle the pizza with cheese.
- 22. Drizzle some oil over the pizza.
- 23. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
- 24. Bake the pizza for about 25 to 30 minutes in the lower part of the oven.
