🍽️ Roasted Tomato Tuna Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 1 Ciabatta
- Arugula leaf
- 150 g best tuna (jar, natural or poached salmon)
- 4 Cherry tomatoes
- Balsamic vinegar
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- dried oregano
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cherry tomatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the tomatoes in half.
- 3. Place the tomato halves cut-side down on an oven-safe plate.
- 4. Drizzle the cut surfaces with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
- 5. Season the tomatoes with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
- 7. Bake the tomatoes in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 8. Remove the plate from the oven.
- 9. Let the tomatoes cool down completely.
- 10. Wash the arugula.
- 11. Pat the arugula dry with a kitchen towel.
- 12. Remove the tough stems from the arugula.
- 13. Drain the tuna.
- 14. Pat the tuna dry.
- 15. Coarsely crumble the tuna with your hands.
- 16. Cut eight slices from the ciabatta bread.
- 17. Top four bread slices with the arugula.
- 18. Spread the tuna over the arugula.
- 19. Place two tomato halves on each topped slice.
- 20. Place the remaining four bread slices on top as lids.
- 21. Secure the sandwiches with toothpicks.
