🍽️ Marinated Tuna with Fried Lemon Wedges

Ingredients
- 4 fresh tuna steaks (approx. 120 g each)
- 5 unwaxed lemons (preferably from the organic store)
- olive oil (cold-pressed)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 0.5 bunch parsley (coarsely chopped)
- 6 tbsp green olives (preserved in oil)
Instructions
- 1. Season the tuna steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- 2. Pour the juice of two lemons and four tablespoons of olive oil over the steaks.
- 3. Let the steaks marinate for one hour to absorb the flavors.
- 4. Wash the lemons thoroughly and cut them into wedges.
- 5. Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and let them drain well.
- 6. Heat a pan thoroughly, but do not add any extra oil.
- 7. Sear the tuna steaks for one to two minutes on each side.
- 8. Remove the cooked steaks from the pan and place them on the plates.
- 9. Pour two to four tablespoons of oil and the remaining marinade into the still hot pan.
- 10. Fry the lemon wedges vigorously in the hot liquid.
- 11. Remove the pan from the heat to prevent burning.
- 12. Gently press the lemon wedges with a fork to release the juice.
- 13. Place the lemon wedges on top of the tuna steaks.
- 14. Drizzle some of the hot lemon oil from the pan over the dish.
- 15. Finally, season the dish to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper.
