  1. 1. Rinse the tuna under running water.
  2. 2. Pat the fish dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Mix two tablespoons of lime juice with the oil, honey, thyme, and curry powder in a small bowl.
  4. 4. Season the marinade with some black pepper.
  5. 5. Brush the tuna steaks evenly with the marinade.
  6. 6. Cover the steaks and place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Cut the pineapple into small cubes.
  8. 8. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  9. 9. Quarter the tomatoes and remove the core.
  10. 10. Dice the cored tomatoes into small pieces as well.
  11. 11. Mix the pineapple and tomato cubes with the chopped coriander leaves.
  12. 12. Season the salsa to taste with sugar, cayenne pepper, and some lime juice.
  13. 13. Heat a frying pan over high heat.
  14. 14. Sear the tuna steaks on all sides for 2 to 3 minutes.
  15. 15. Make sure the inside of the fish remains raw.
  16. 16. Serve the tuna together with the fruity salsa.
