🍽️ Tuna with Beans and Mint

Ingredients
- 400 g green beans
- salt
- 2 red onions
- 600 g tuna fillet
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 0.5 tsp fennel seeds
- 150 ml dry white wine
- 2 tbsp roughly chopped mint
Instructions
- 1. Clean the beans thoroughly and remove the ends.
- 2. Cut the beans into pieces about 3 to 4 centimeters long.
- 3. Blanch the beans for about 6 minutes in boiling salted water.
- 4. Shock the beans immediately with cold water and let them drain.
- 5. Peel the onions and cut them in half into thin strips.
- 6. Rinse the tuna and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Cut the fish into bite-sized cubes.
- 8. Season the fish cubes with salt and pepper.
- 9. Lightly mix the fish with the cornstarch.
- 10. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.
- 11. Fry the fish for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 12. Remove the fish from the pan and set it aside.
- 13. Sauté the onions and fennel in the same pan for 3 to 4 minutes.
- 14. Deglaze the pan with the wine.
- 15. Add the beans and the prepared fish back into the pan.
- 16. Let everything cook through for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 17. Stir the mint into the dish.
- 18. Finally, season the dish to taste with salt and pepper.
- 19. Serve the dish warm.
