Ingredients
- 4 Bagels
- 4 lettuce leaves (e.g. Lollo Bianco)
- 1 cucumber
- 2 avocados
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 shallot
- 350 g tuna (can)
- 4 tbsp whipping cream
- 2 tbsp capers
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the bagels horizontally in half and open them up.
- 2. Wash the lettuce and shake it dry.
- 3. Wash the cucumber, peel it, and slice it into thin strips lengthwise.
- 4. Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and peel off the skin.
- 5. Slice the avocados and drizzle them with lemon juice.
- 6. Peel the shallot and dice it finely.
- 7. Drain the tuna and mash it finely with a fork.
- 8. Mix the tuna with the cream and the shallots.
- 9. Add the capers and season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 10. Place one lettuce leaf on each bagel half.
- 11. Place the tuna salad on top of the lettuce.
- 12. Arrange the avocado strips and cucumber strips on top.
- 13. Place the top half of the bagel on and enjoy your sandwich.
