🍽️ Tuna on Asian Noodles

Ingredients
- 300 g Capellini
- Salt
- 2 red chili peppers
- 4 spring onions
- 1 unwaxed lime
- 1 handful cilantro leaves
- 2 tbsp soybean oil
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 4 tuna steaks (approx. 140 g each)
- Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Boil plenty of water in a pot and add salt.
- 2. Add the noodles to the boiling water.
- 3. Cook the noodles until they are al dente, according to the package instructions.
- 4. Rinse the chili peppers under hot water.
- 5. Rinse the spring onions under hot water.
- 6. Dry the chili peppers with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Dry the spring onions with a kitchen towel.
- 8. Remove the stems from the chili peppers.
- 9. Chop the chili peppers into small pieces.
- 10. Slice the spring onions into small rings.
- 11. Rinse the lime under hot water.
- 12. Dry the lime with a kitchen towel.
- 13. Peel the lime skin into fine strips (zest).
- 14. Squeeze the juice out of the lime.
- 15. Rinse the coriander under cold water.
- 16. Shake the coriander dry.
- 17. Chop the coriander leaves into small pieces.
- 18. Add one tablespoon of sesame oil to a large pan.
- 19. Heat the oil in the pan.
- 20. Add the spring onions to the hot pan.
- 21. Add the chili peppers to the hot pan.
- 22. Fry the spring onions and chili peppers for one to two minutes.
- 23. Add the drained noodles to the pan.
- 24. Toss the noodles in the pan to mix them with the oil.
- 25. Add soy sauce to season the noodles.
- 26. Add lime juice to season the noodles.
- 27. Take half of the lime zest.
- 28. Add the lime zest to the noodles.
- 29. Add the coriander to the noodles.
- 30. Rinse the tuna under cold water.
- 31. Dry the tuna with kitchen paper.
- 32. Season the tuna with salt.
- 33. Season the tuna with pepper.
- 34. Add the remaining oil to a grill pan.
- 35. Heat the grill pan.
- 36. Place the tuna in the hot grill pan.
- 37. Fry the tuna on one side for one to two minutes.
- 38. Turn the tuna.
- 39. Fry the tuna on the other side for one to two minutes.
- 40. Distribute the noodles onto plates.
- 41. Place the tuna on the noodles.
- 42. Take the remaining lime zest.
- 43. Sprinkle the lime zest over the tuna.
- 44. Serve the dish immediately.
