Ingredients
- 2.5 kg beef ribs
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 80 ml vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp chili powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the ribs under running water.
- 2. Thoroughly dry the ribs with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 4. Halve the onion and the garlic.
- 5. Place the ribs, onion, and garlic in a pot of boiling water.
- 6. Simmer the mixture gently for about 20 minutes.
- 7. Drain the water.
- 8. Dry the ribs again with a kitchen towel.
- 9. Whisk the oil, honey, salt, and cayenne pepper together in a bowl.
- 10. Warm the oil mixture briefly.
- 11. Coat the ribs evenly with the spice-oil mixture.
- 12. Place the ribs on the preheated hot grill.
- 13. Close the grill lid.
- 14. Grill the ribs for about 20 minutes with the lid closed.
- 15. Open the grill lid and turn the ribs regularly.
- 16. Grill the ribs for a total of about 30 minutes.
- 17. Cut the cooked ribs into individual pieces using a sharp knife.
- 18. Plate the ribs.
