🍽️ Small Cookies for the Terrace

Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 vanilla pod (scraped seeds)
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 250 g cold butter (in small cubes)
- apricot jam
- redcurrant jelly
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Put all the ingredients for the dough into a bowl.
- 2. Knead the ingredients quickly into a smooth dough.
- 3. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 4. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
- 5. Place the foil in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 7. Sprinkle some flour on your work surface.
- 8. Roll out the dough on the floured surface to about 3 millimeters thin.
- 9. Cut out round cookies with a fluted edge.
- 10. Use three different sizes for the cookies.
- 11. Cut a hole in the center of the smallest cookies.
- 12. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 13. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
- 14. Warm up the jam and jelly slightly.
- 15. Spread the jam or jelly on the large and medium cookies.
- 16. Place a small cookie with a hole on top of a spread medium cookie.
- 17. Place a spread large cookie on top of the small cookie.
- 18. Let the assembled cookies dry for a short time.
- 19. Dust the finished cookies with powdered sugar.
