🍽️ Small Cookies for the Terrace

Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- vanilla pods
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 250 g cold butter (in small cubes)
- apricot jam
- redcurrant jelly
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Knead all dough ingredients quickly into a smooth dough.
- 2. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 3. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
- 4. Place the foil in the refrigerator for approx. 30 minutes.
- 5. Dust a work surface with flour.
- 6. Roll out the dough on the floured surface to approx. 3 mm thickness.
- 7. Cut out round cookies with scalloped edges in three different sizes.
- 8. Cut a hole in the center of the smallest cookies.
- 9. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- 11. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for approx. 10 minutes.
- 12. Warm up the jam and jelly.
- 13. Spread the large and medium cookies with jam or jelly.
- 14. Stack the spread cookies on top of each other.
- 15. Let the cookies dry.
- 16. Dust the finished cookies with powdered sugar.
