🍽️ Apricot Tart with Marzipan Base

Ingredients
- 100 g Marzipan raw mass
- 40 ml Apricot liqueur
- 150 g soft butter
- 100 g Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 250 g Flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 50 g ground almond kernels
- 50 ml Milk
- 6 Apricots
- Butter (for the pan)
- Icing sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Mash the marzipan with a fork together with the apricot liqueur until smooth.
- 3. Beat the butter with the sugar until creamy.
- 4. Stir in the eggs one by one and gradually into the butter-sugar mixture.
- 5. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the ground almonds.
- 6. Fold in the flour mixture and the marzipan mass into the dough.
- 7. Add only as much as necessary until the dough is just spreadable.
- 8. Place the dough into the greased tart pan.
- 9. Smooth the dough evenly in the pan.
- 10. Wash the apricots thoroughly.
- 11. Halve the apricots and remove the pits.
- 12. Arrange the apricot halves on the dough.
- 13. Press the fruits slightly into the dough.
- 14. Bake the tart for about 40 minutes until golden brown in the oven.
- 15. Check the baking time with a wooden skewer to see if it comes out clean.
- 16. Remove the tart from the oven.
- 17. Let the tart cool down completely.
- 18. Dust the finished tart with powdered sugar.
- 19. Serve the tart.
