  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  2. 2. Mash the marzipan with a fork together with the apricot liqueur until smooth.
  3. 3. Beat the butter with the sugar until creamy.
  4. 4. Stir in the eggs one by one and gradually into the butter-sugar mixture.
  5. 5. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the ground almonds.
  6. 6. Fold in the flour mixture and the marzipan mass into the dough.
  7. 7. Add only as much as necessary until the dough is just spreadable.
  8. 8. Place the dough into the greased tart pan.
  9. 9. Smooth the dough evenly in the pan.
  10. 10. Wash the apricots thoroughly.
  11. 11. Halve the apricots and remove the pits.
  12. 12. Arrange the apricot halves on the dough.
  13. 13. Press the fruits slightly into the dough.
  14. 14. Bake the tart for about 40 minutes until golden brown in the oven.
  15. 15. Check the baking time with a wooden skewer to see if it comes out clean.
  16. 16. Remove the tart from the oven.
  17. 17. Let the tart cool down completely.
  18. 18. Dust the finished tart with powdered sugar.
  19. 19. Serve the tart.
