  1. 1. Place the wooden skewers in a container of water.
  2. 2. Thoroughly wash the chicken breast fillets.
  3. 3. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
  4. 4. Cut the chicken meat into approx. 2 cm cubes.
  5. 5. Halve the limes.
  6. 6. Squeeze the juice from the limes.
  7. 7. Thread the meat cubes onto the soaked skewers one by one.
  8. 8. Put paprika powder into a small bowl.
  9. 9. Add cayenne pepper.
  10. 10. Add 3 tablespoons of lime juice.
  11. 11. Add tamarind paste to the bowl.
  12. 12. Add ketchup.
  13. 13. Mix all ingredients for the marinade well together.
  14. 14. Turn the meat skewers in the marinade so they are well coated.
  15. 15. Cover the skewers with cling film.
  16. 16. Place the skewers in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  17. 17. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  18. 18. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
  19. 19. Cut out the hard stem areas from the tomato pieces.
  20. 20. Remove the seeds from the tomato quarters.
  21. 21. Cut each tomato quarter in half crosswise.

  23. 23. Dice the onions coarsely.
