Ingredients
- 600 g beef fillet (center cut)
- clarified butter (for frying)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 8 lettuce leaves
- 8 tsp tomato sauce
- 2 cherry tomatoes (cut into 8 thin wedges)
- 8 cilantro leaves
Instructions
- 1. Cut the meat into 16 equal slices.
- 2. Heat some clarified butter in a pan.
- 3. Sear the filet slices on each side for about 1 minute.
- 4. Remove the meat slices from the pan.
- 5. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 6. Place 2 meat slices on each leaf of salad.
- 7. Add 1 teaspoon of tomato sauce to each portion.
- 8. Garnish the dish with a tomato wedge.
- 9. Add a coriander leaf as decoration.
