🍽️ Sweet Oatmeal Waffles

Ingredients
- 250 g Oatmeal
- 500 g Buttermilk
- 2 tsp Lemon zest
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tbsp Oil (for baking)
Instructions
- 1. Put the oatmeal into the soured milk.
- 2. Let the mixture soak for about 2 hours.
- 3. Finely grate the zest of one lemon.
- 4. Add the lemon zest, a pinch of salt, and the eggs to the oatmeal mixture.
- 5. Whisk everything until the batter is smooth.
- 6. Preheat your waffle iron.
- 7. Lightly grease the baking surfaces of the waffle iron.
- 8. Place 1 1/2 tablespoons of batter into the hot waffle iron.
- 9. Bake the waffles for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
- 10. Set the oven to 70 degrees Celsius.
- 11. Keep the finished waffles warm in the oven.
- 12. Serve the waffles hot with honey.
