  2. 2. Add the nuts along with the remaining dry ingredients to a large bowl.
  3. 3. Whisk the oil and maple syrup with 300 milliliters of warm water.
  4. 4. Pour the liquid into the bowl with the dry ingredients.
  5. 5. Mix everything well until a uniform mass forms.
  6. 6. Let the dough soak for 2 to 3 hours.
  7. 7. Line a small baking or casserole dish (20 to 22 centimeters) with baking paper.
  8. 8. Fill the dough into the prepared dish.
  9. 9. Press the dough down firmly.
  10. 10. Brush the surface of the bread with a little water.
  11. 11. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (convection: 180 degrees; gas: setting 3).
  12. 12. Bake the bread for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
  13. 13. Carefully loosen the bread from the dish.
  14. 14. Place the bread on a baking sheet.
  15. 15. Finish baking the bread for another 20 minutes at 180 degrees (convection: 160 degrees; gas: setting 2 to 3).
