Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 lemon (use the grated zest)
- 4 tbsp oil
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- strawberry jam
- frying fat (ghee)
- powdered sugar
- cinnamon
Instructions
- 1. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the eggs, salt, sugar, cinnamon, lemon zest, and oil, then knead everything into a dough. Let the dough rest in a warm place for one hour.
- 2. Shape small balls by hand. Fill the balls with jam using a piping bag. Fry them in hot fat until golden brown on both sides. Drain on kitchen paper and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
