🍽️ Creamy Sweet Potato Mash

Ingredients
- 800 g sweet potatoes
- salt
- 200 ml milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 25 g butter
- lemon juice
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with water and add some salt.
- 2. Bring the water to a boil and add the sweet potatoes.
- 3. Cook the potatoes for about 30 minutes until soft.
- 4. Drain the cooking water and peel the warm sweet potatoes.
- 5. Return the peeled potatoes to the pot.
- 6. Add hot milk, syrup, and butter.
- 7. Mash the ingredients with a potato masher until smooth.
- 8. Make sure the consistency becomes creamy and smooth.
- 9. If the mash is too thick, stir in a little more hot milk.
- 10. Finally, season the mash with salt, lemon juice, and pepper.
