🍽️ Creamy Sweet Potato and Pea Mash

Ingredients
- 100 g sweet potatoes
- 200 g peas (frozen)
- 20 g fine oat flakes
- 0.5 orange
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Place them in a small pot and cover with a small amount of water.
- 3. Cook the sweet potatoes covered for 30 to 40 minutes until very soft.
- 4. Check for doneness: A knife tip should pierce the potato easily.
- 5. Bring about 100 milliliters of water to a boil in a second pot.
- 6. Add the frozen peas and the oat flakes to the boiling water.
- 7. Let the mixture cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- 8. Cut the orange in half in the meantime.
- 9. Squeeze the orange halves.
- 10. Measure out exactly three tablespoons of orange juice.
- 11. Rinse the cooked sweet potatoes under cold running water.
- 12. Peel the cooled sweet potatoes.
- 13. Add the peeled sweet potatoes and the orange juice to the pea mixture.
- 14. Add the oil.
- 15. Mash everything with a potato masher into a chunky mash.
- 16. Check the temperature of the serving.
- 17. Feed one portion fresh.
- 18. Let the remaining mash cool down quickly.
- 19. Freeze the cooled mash.
