🍽️ Grilled Sweet Potato in Foil Packet

Ingredients
- 4 large sweet potatoes (approx. 200 g each)
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- salt
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 120 g soft butter
Instructions
- 1. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Dry the potatoes with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Wrap each sweet potato tightly in a piece of aluminum foil.
- 4. Poke the foil several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- 5. Place the packets on the grill.
- 6. Grill the sweet potatoes for about 40 minutes.
- 7. Turn the packets regularly during the cooking time.
- 8. Test for doneness by piercing the potato with a fork.
- 9. The sweet potatoes are done when the fork enters easily.
- 10. Wash the chili pepper and cut it open lengthwise.
- 11. Remove the seeds and white pith from the chili.
- 12. Cut the chili into small pieces.
- 13. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
- 14. Mash the garlic with a pinch of salt into a paste.
- 15. Mix the butter, chili, garlic paste, and parsley together.
- 16. Store the chili butter in the refrigerator until serving.
- 17. Remove the grilled sweet potatoes from the foil.
- 18. Cut each potato open lengthwise.
- 19. Place a dollop of chili butter on the warm potato.
- 20. Serve the remaining butter separately in a small bowl.
