  3. 3. Add the vanilla seeds and sugar to the milk.
  4. 4. Bring the milk mixture to a boil.
  5. 5. Stir the rice into the hot milk.
  6. 6. Let the rice dish simmer on low heat for 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Stir occasionally during the cooking process.
  8. 8. Heat a pan without any fat.
  9. 9. Toast the almonds in the pan until light brown.
  10. 10. Remove the almonds from the pan.
  11. 11. Let the almonds cool down on a plate.
  12. 12. Wash the peaches thoroughly.
  13. 13. Cut the peaches in half.
  14. 14. Remove the pits from the peach halves.
  15. 15. Place the peaches cut-side up in a baking dish.
  16. 16. Squeeze the orange to get the juice.
  17. 17. Mix three tablespoons of orange juice with honey.
  18. 18. Drizzle the honey-orange mixture over the peaches.
  19. 19. Preheat the oven grill.
  20. 20. Place the baking dish on the second rack from the bottom.
