🍝 Crispy Apple Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
- 500 g Spaghettini
- 5 tart apples
- Juice of one lemon
- 5 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 4 tbsp raisins
- 300 ml heavy cream
- 2 eggs
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp bourbon vanilla
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 2. Halve the apples and remove the core.
- 3. Cut the unpeeled apples into thin wedges.
- 4. Drizzle the apple wedges with lemon juice.
- 5. Whisk the cream, sugar, vanilla, and eggs in a bowl until smooth.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 7. Cook the spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente.
- 8. Drain the noodles.
- 9. Layer the spaghetti and apple wedges alternately in a baking dish.
- 10. Pour the egg cream mixture evenly over the layers.
- 11. Sprinkle the casserole with raisins and sunflower seeds.
- 12. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 35 minutes until golden brown.
- 13. Sprinkle with additional sugar to taste before serving.
