🍽️ Sweet Berry Spread

Ingredients
- 150 g berries (berry mix, frozen)
- 30 g almond slivers
- 50 g coconut blossom sugar
- 0.25 tsp agar-agar
Instructions
- 1. Rinse a 200-ml jar with a hinged lid (screw-top or preserving jar) with boiling water.
- 2. Place the jar upside down on a kitchen towel to drain and dry.
- 3. Put the berries into a pot.
- 4. Add 2 tablespoons of water and coconut blossom sugar.
- 5. Let the berries thaw in the mixture.
- 6. Put the almond slivers into a small coated frying pan.
- 7. Toast the almonds until light brown without adding extra fat.
- 8. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 9. Place the toasted almonds on a plate.
- 10. Let the almonds cool on the plate.
- 11. Stir the agar-agar into the berry mixture.
- 12. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil for about 2 minutes.
- 13. Fold the cooled almonds into the warm berry mixture.
- 14. Spoon the spread into the prepared jar.
- 15. Seal the jar tightly.
- 16. Place the jar in the refrigerator.
- 17. Consume the spread within 2 to 3 months.
