  1. 1. Rinse a 200-ml jar with a hinged lid (screw-top or preserving jar) with boiling water.
  2. 2. Place the jar upside down on a kitchen towel to drain and dry.
  3. 3. Put the berries into a pot.
  4. 4. Add 2 tablespoons of water and coconut blossom sugar.
  5. 5. Let the berries thaw in the mixture.
  6. 6. Put the almond slivers into a small coated frying pan.
  7. 7. Toast the almonds until light brown without adding extra fat.
  8. 8. Remove the pan from the heat.
  9. 9. Place the toasted almonds on a plate.
  10. 10. Let the almonds cool on the plate.
  11. 11. Stir the agar-agar into the berry mixture.
  12. 12. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil for about 2 minutes.
  13. 13. Fold the cooled almonds into the warm berry mixture.
  14. 14. Spoon the spread into the prepared jar.
  15. 15. Seal the jar tightly.
  16. 16. Place the jar in the refrigerator.
  17. 17. Consume the spread within 2 to 3 months.
