🍕 Sweet Orange Ricotta Pizza

Ingredients
- 300 g Ricotta
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 pinch vanilla bean paste
- 2 oranges
- 60 g chopped pistachios
- 1 pinch salt
- flour (for working)
- vegetable oil (for the baking sheet)
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Make a well in the center of the flour.
- 3. Crumble the yeast into the well.
- 4. Pour in the lukewarm milk.
- 5. Stir in the tablespoon of sugar and a spoonful of flour.
- 6. Let the starter rest covered for about 30 minutes.
- 7. Add the eggs, the cut-up butter, and the salt to the starter.
- 8. Work everything into a smooth dough.
- 9. The dough should pull away from the sides of the bowl.
- 10. Adjust the amount of flour if necessary.
- 11. Let the dough rise covered for another 30 minutes.
- 12. Let the ricotta drain well for the filling.
- 13. Mix the ricotta with the egg yolk, the honey, and the vanilla.
- 14. Peel the oranges carefully.
- 15. Remove the white pith as well.
- 16. Cut out the orange segments.
- 17. Knead the dough well again on a floured surface.
- 18. Roll the dough out to about 1 cm thick on a floured surface.
- 19. Cut the dough into 6 rectangles.
- 20. Halve the rectangles diagonally.
- 21. Place the dough pieces on an oiled baking sheet.
- 22. Spread the ricotta mixture over the dough pieces.
- 23. Distribute the orange segments on top.
- 24. Sprinkle the pizzas with pistachios.
- 25. Bake the pizzas on the hot grill with the lid closed for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
