  3. 3. Continue rinsing until the running water is clear.
  4. 4. Let the millet drain well in the sieve.
  5. 5. Add the milk, a pinch of salt, vanilla, and cardamom to a pot.
  6. 6. Heat the mixture until it comes to a boil.
  7. 7. Add the drained millet to the boiling milk.
  8. 8. Bring the mixture back to a boil briefly.
  9. 9. Reduce the heat to low.
  10. 10. Cover the pot with a lid.
  11. 11. Simmer the millet for five minutes.
  12. 12. Stir the millet occasionally during this time.
  13. 13. Dice the figs into small cubes.
  14. 14. Add the diced figs and the cranberries to the millet.
  15. 15. Cover the pot again.
  16. 16. Cook the ingredients for another five minutes.
  17. 17. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
  18. 18. Place the slivered almonds into the dry pan.
  19. 19. Toast the almonds until they are golden brown.
  20. 20. Remove the toasted almonds from the pan.

  23. 23. Mix the coconut blossom sugar with cinnamon.
