🍽️ Sweet Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg cranberries
- 200 g sugar
- 1 lemon (juice)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the cranberries thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Place the rinsed cranberries in a pot.
- 3. Pour 200 milliliters of water over the berries.
- 4. Simmer the mixture over medium heat for about 20 minutes until the berries burst.
- 5. Puree the cooked cranberries finely using a hand blender or a fork.
- 6. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove any remaining skins.
- 7. Return the smooth fruit puree to the pot.
- 8. Add 500 milliliters of water, the sugar, and the lemon juice.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring.
- 10. Fill the hot sauce into clean, prepared bottles.
- 11. Seal the bottles tightly with lids.
- 12. Let the sealed bottles cool down completely at room temperature.
