  1. 1. Sift whole grain flour into a bowl and create a well in the center. Crumble the yeast inside, mix it with water and brown sugar, and let it rest covered for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Add salt and knead everything into a dough until it pulls away from the bowl's edge. Then cover and let it rise in a warm place for 60 minutes.
  3. 3. Shape the dough into about 30 cm long strands, wrap them spirally around long sticks, and grill over glowing charcoal for 10-15 minutes until the stockbread is golden brown and cooked through.
