🍽️ Creamy Rutabaga Mash with Lime

Ingredients
- 400 g turnip (1 piece)
- salt
- 1 organic lime
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 tsp mild curry powder
- 100 ml milk (1.5% fat)

Instructions
- 1. Wash the rutabaga thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the rutabaga into thick slices.
- 3. Remove the tough skin with a peeler.
- 4. Cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 5. Place the rutabaga cubes in a pot.
- 6. Fill the pot halfway with lightly salted water.
- 7. Bring the water to a boil.
- 8. Reduce the heat to medium.
- 9. Place a lid on the pot.
- 10. Cook the rutabaga for about 20 minutes.
- 11. Rinse the lime under hot water.
- 12. Dry the lime with a cloth.
- 13. Grate half of the peel finely.
- 14. Peel the garlic.
- 15. Finely chop the garlic.
- 16. Place the chopped garlic in a small pot.
- 17. Add the curry powder to the pot.
- 18. Add the milk to the pot.
- 19. Season the milk mixture with salt.
- 20. Season the milk mixture with pepper.
- 21. Bring the milk mixture to a boil.
- 22. Drain the cooking water from the rutabaga.
- 23. Let the rutabaga steam dry for a moment.
- 24. Mash the rutabaga into a puree.
- 25. Stir the hot milk mixture into the puree gradually.
- 26. Mix the grated lime peel into the puree.
- 27. Add some lime juice if desired.
- 28. Serve the puree immediately.
