🍽️ Grilled Fish on Wooden Skewers

Ingredients
- 4 trout (ready for the kitchen, with skin and head, approx. 350 g each)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 untreated lemon (juice)
- olive oil
- 1 bunch dill (20 g each)
- butter
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Season the fish inside and out with salt and pepper.
- 3. Rinse a lemon under hot water and dry it thoroughly.
- 4. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
- 5. Drizzle the fish with the lemon juice.
- 6. Brush the fish with oil.
- 7. Stuff the fish generously with fresh dill.
- 8. Butter the wooden skewers so the fish does not stick.
- 9. Thread the fish onto the skewers with the head facing forward.
- 10. Stick the skewers into the ground about 30 centimeters away from the embers.
- 11. Grill the fish for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on their size.
- 12. Rotate the skewers frequently while cooking.
- 13. Brush the fish with oil repeatedly during grilling.
- 14. Serve the grilled fish with potato salad if you like.
