🍽️ Grilled Trout on a Skewer

Ingredients
- 1400 g whole, kitchen-ready trout (4 whole, kitchen-ready trout; or mackerel)
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the trout thoroughly, both inside and out.
- 2. Pat the fish dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Whisk the oil with the curry powder, paprika powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- 4. Brush the inside of the trout with half of the spice mixture.
- 5. Thread the fish onto prepared wooden skewers (preferably soaked beforehand).
- 6. Brush the outside of the fish with the remaining spice-oil mixture.
- 7. Grill the fish over the fire.
- 8. Rotate the skewers constantly to ensure even cooking.
- 9. Cook the fish for about 20 minutes.
