  1. 1. Wash the trout thoroughly, both inside and out.
  2. 2. Pat the fish dry with kitchen paper.
  3. 3. Whisk the oil with the curry powder, paprika powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. 4. Brush the inside of the trout with half of the spice mixture.
  5. 5. Thread the fish onto prepared wooden skewers (preferably soaked beforehand).
  6. 6. Brush the outside of the fish with the remaining spice-oil mixture.
  7. 7. Grill the fish over the fire.
  8. 8. Rotate the skewers constantly to ensure even cooking.
  9. 9. Cook the fish for about 20 minutes.
