🍽️ Beef Steak with Green Bean and Anchovy Salad

Ingredients
- 400 g green beans
- salt
- 300 g cherry tomatoes
- 3 tbsp black, pitted olives (jar)
- 1 tbsp capers (jar)
- 6 anchovy fillets (preserved in oil)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 beef filet steaks (ready for cooking, approx. 180 g each)
- olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the green beans.
- 2. Remove the hard ends and strings from the beans.
- 3. Bring a pot of water and salt to a boil.
- 4. Add the beans to the boiling water.
- 5. Cook the beans for about 10 minutes.
- 6. Drain the beans.
- 7. Immediately rinse the beans with cold water to stop the cooking process (shock).
- 8. Let the beans drain well in a colander.
- 9. Wash the tomatoes.
- 10. Cut the tomatoes in half.
- 11. Let the olives, capers, and anchovy fillets drain well.
- 12. Take two anchovy fillets.
- 13. Finely chop these two anchovy fillets.
- 14. Whisk the oil with the vinegar in a bowl.
- 15. Stir the chopped anchovy fillets into the oil-vinegar mixture.
- 16. Pepper the dressing mixture to taste.
- 17. Add the halved tomatoes to the mixture.
- 18. Add the capers to the mixture.
- 19. Add the olives to the mixture.
- 20. Add the drained beans to the mixture.
- 21. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 22. Finally, taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings.
- 23. Preheat the grill.
- 24. Wash the beef steak.
- 25. Pat the steak dry with kitchen paper.
- 26. Salt the steak on both sides.
- 27. Pepper the steak on both sides.
- 28. Brush the steak with a little olive oil.
- 29. Place the steak on the hot grill.
- 30. Grill the steak for 3 to 4 minutes from the first side.
- 31. Turn the steak.
- 32. Grill the steak for another 3 to 4 minutes from the second side.
- 33. Distribute the salad onto the plates.
- 34. Place one steak on top of the salad.
- 35. Garnish the dish with an anchovy fillet.
- 36. Serve the steak immediately.
